Industry & Marine Diesel AB (IMD AB) became an authorized Volvo Penta dealer in 2001, following approximately 15 years of experience in the industrial and marine engine industry.

In 2008, IMD AB was appointed Volvo Penta's Industrial Centre for Sweden.

IMD currently has 9 employees. We also have service partners at various locations throughout Sweden to ensure fast and efficient service.

In 2009, we began a partnership with FPT Iveco in Gothenburg to enable us to supply our customers with engines in the < 150 kW range. The partnership has grown stronger over the years. On January 1, 2013, FPT closed its Gothenburg office. Following this, IMD AB took over responsibility for the sales of the FPT engine range in Sweden.

IMD AB has a strong financial position and an excellent credit rating, placing us among the financially strongest companies in Sweden.

We sell FPT Iveco and Volvo Penta engines — new, exchange and refurbished. We always maintain a large stock of engines for immediate delivery.

Our product range also includes generator sets powered by these engines. The generator sets range from 13 to 630 kVA and are CE-marked. We always keep a 410 kVA unit in stock, equipped with an air filtration system for demanding environments. Available in both open standard and sound-insulated versions.

Our warehouse contains a wide range of interesting spare parts, including crankshafts, camshafts, cylinder heads, engine blocks, connecting rods, and more. We can supply both new and used original parts at competitive prices.
